Card Features
Six Reasons the Unlimited Cash Rewards Card Is the Simplest Choice
Designed for cardholders who want maximum simplicity without sacrificing value. No mental overhead, no activation calendars, no quarterly categories — just a reliable 1.5% on everything and powerful introductory benefits.
Truly Unlimited 1.5% — No Caps, No Exclusions
Unlike some flat-rate cards that cap earnings at a certain spend threshold, the Unlimited Cash Rewards card earns 1.5% on every single dollar with absolutely no cap. Spend $500 or $50,000 — the rate never drops. Groceries, utilities, subscriptions, medical bills, travel — it all earns 1.5%.
No Rotating Categories — Ever
Some cash back cards require quarterly category activation to earn bonus rates. Not this one. There are no rotating categories, no activation requirements, no quarterly changes, and no chance of accidentally missing a bonus. Your 1.5% is automatic and consistent — every purchase, every month, all year long.
0% Intro APR for 15 Billing Cycles on Purchases
New cardholders receive a 0% introductory APR on purchases for the first 15 billing cycles after account opening — roughly 15 months. Finance a large purchase, spread out home improvement costs, or manage a planned expense interest-free. After the intro period, the variable APR of 19.24%–29.24% applies.
Preferred Rewards Bonus — Up to 75% More Cash Back
Federal Crown Bank Preferred Rewards members automatically earn more on every purchase. Gold tier (25% bonus): 1.875% on everything. Platinum (50%): 2.25% on everything. Platinum Honors (75%): 2.625% on everything. That's a genuine flat rate exceeding most premium travel cards — with no annual fee and no categories.
Contactless Payments & Digital Wallets
Tap to pay at millions of contactless-enabled terminals. The Unlimited Cash Rewards card works seamlessly with Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Samsung Pay. Add it to your digital wallet and leave the physical card at home — still earns full 1.5% cash back on every tap, tap, and click.
$0 Liability — Zero Fraud Responsibility
You will never be held responsible for unauthorized transactions. Federal Crown Bank monitors your account 24/7 for suspicious activity. If fraud is detected, we'll notify you instantly and cover any unauthorized charges completely. Your cash rewards balance is also protected — you won't lose earned rewards to fraud.
Introductory APR
Your 0% Intro APR Period — What You Need to Know
The 15-billing-cycle 0% introductory period gives you over a year to make large purchases and pay them off without interest. Understanding the timeline and terms ensures you get maximum benefit.
Important 0% APR Terms
- You must make at least the minimum monthly payment to maintain the 0% rate
- A late payment may result in the promotional rate being revoked — the Penalty APR (up to 29.99%) could apply
- The 0% intro APR applies to purchases only — cash advances are not eligible
- Balance transfers also have a 0% intro APR for 15 billing cycles (3% transfer fee applies)
- After the intro period, the variable APR applies to any unpaid balance — interest accrues from the statement date
- "Billing cycle" is approximately one month; 15 cycles ≈ 15 months from account opening

Which Card Is Right for You?
Unlimited Cash Rewards vs. Cash Rewards — When Flat Rate Wins
Both cards earn cash back with no annual fee. But they're designed for different spenders. Here's how to decide which is the better fit for your lifestyle.
Unlimited Cash Rewards
- Earn the same 1.5% on every purchase — no thinking required
- 0% intro APR on purchases — ideal for financing a large purchase
- Spending is varied, with no single category dominating
- You prefer not to manage category selections monthly
- You want maximum simplicity with a single card
- Great backup card for spending outside another card's bonus category
Cash Rewards Card
- Earn 3% in your chosen category (within $2,500/quarter cap)
- Earn 2% at grocery stores and wholesale clubs
- You concentrate spending in one area: dining, gas, online shopping, etc.
- Willing to manage a monthly category selection
- You spend heavily at grocery stores and wholesale clubs
- No intro 0% APR on purchases — not a financing card
Bottom Line
If more than 50% of your monthly spending is in a single category that the Cash Rewards card covers at 3%, that card likely wins. If your spending is spread across many categories — or if you want a simple set-and-forget card or the 0% intro APR — the Unlimited Cash Rewards card is the stronger choice. Many FCB customers carry both: Cash Rewards for the high-earning category, Unlimited Cash Rewards for everything else.
